...Back to the Future! Exhibiting the Werner Nekes Collection
Following the acquisition of the Werner Nekes Collection, all three participating institutions developed concepts for presenting it to a wider audience. The DFF - Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum in Frankfurt has installed a section in its existing permanent exhibition in which changing exhibition themes can be presented with objects from the collection. Biography
Studied theater, film and media studies, Scandinavian studies and political science in Frankfurt/Main and Bergen/Norway. Since 2007, freelance curator and editor for virtual and real exhibitions on film-historical topics. Six years as a member of the selection committee at the European Media Art Festival (EMAF), Osnabrück. Since 2017 she has been a permanent exhibition curator at the DFF - Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum, Frankfurt. Exhibitions on film noir (2012), cinematic surrealism (2014), the color red in film (2017) and disaster films (2021), among others. (Translation TWS)
