Guide to Conference App

The conference app allows you to manage your personal profile, access the event schedule and speaker information, as well as connect with fellow participants, take notes, and much more. This brief guide explains how to use the conference app step by step.

Step 1:

To use the IFTR 2025 Event App, please begin by downloading the app “PheedLoop Go!” from the App Store, Google Play etc. It is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

Step 2:

Once downloaded, open the app. You will be prompted to sign in. Please enter the email address you used to register for IFTR 2025 (the same address to which your speaker portal access was sent). A verification code will be emailed to you. Use this code to complete your login.

Step 3:

After logging in successfully, you will be taken to the app’s main screen. Select the event titled “Performing Carnival: Ekstasis, Subversion, Metamorphosis” to access the homepage.

Key Features at a Glance:

Personal Settings:

Click on the profile icon in the side menu (or under “Settings”) to edit your profile. You can update your name, organization, title, pronouns, bio, and upload a profile photo. You can also manage whether other participants can message you and whether you receive app notifications.

Schedule:

The up-to-date event schedule is available at all times. Use the filter at the bottom of the screen to search by format (e.g., GP 1, WG 6 etc.), track, location, audience (e.g. General Panel, New Scholar Forum, etc.), or speaker. Announcements - important updates, schedule changes, and additional activities

Speakers:

In the “Speakers” section, you can view information about all conference speakers, including their short bios, contact details, and session information. If they have enabled this feature, you can contact them directly via the “Start Chat” option.

Messages:

You can view all received and sent messages in the “Messages” section. Please communicate in a respectful, considerate, and professional manner at all times. Refrain from sending inappropriate, offensive, or unsolicited content. Remember that the event app is intended as a space for collegial exchange and constructive dialogue. Personal or sensitive information should only be shared thoughtfully and when appropriate.

Notes:

The app also includes a note-taking feature, allowing you to conveniently jot down key information even when no notebook is available.
