Peter W. Marx has been Professor of Media and Theater Studies at the University of Cologne and Director of the Theater Studies Collection since 2012. His research focuses on the history of media and theater. A particular focus of his work is the 19th and 20th centuries and »Shakespeare in performance«.
He also researches the media history of the early modern period and the historiography of media and theater studies.
